Step 01
Screening
You’ll speak with our recruiter to share your background and learn more about zeit ag.
Step 02
Online interview
In the follow-up meeting, we'll get to know you in more depth and talk with you about your experience, the specifics of your role, and any questions you may have. / Duration: 1h
Step 03
On-site interview
Let's meet in person! We'll invite you to our office in Sursee to get to know you better and explore how we might work together. / Duration: 1.5-2.5h
Step 04
On-site optional test
If necessary, we will arrange a half-day during which you will work on-site together with our team. / Duration: 3-4h

Decision!
The final stage—if we decide that you're the right fit, we'll welcome you to our team and make the offer. No matter the outcome, we'll give you feedback on the test and previous stages of the process.

Numbers are your thing – and precision is your superpower? Then start with us as: Finance Manager (m/f/d). You ensure accurate financial statements abiding the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO), transparent reports, and stable processes – in an environment that supports you, gives you ownership, and builds on your ideas.
Your Tasks Impact & Responsibility
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable: Independent handling of day-to-day financial accounting (reviewing, account assignment, posting, payments, reconciliations).
- Financial Statements according to CO: Preparation or active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
- Reporting & Controlling: Monthly and quarterly reporting to the group, KPI tracking, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Cash Flow Management: Ongoing liquidity planning, forecasts, variance analyses, and deriving appropriate measures.
- Payroll & Travel Expenses: Preparation and coordination of payroll, maintenance of master data, review of expense claims and travel costs.
- Taxes & Compliance: Support with VAT advance returns, statistical reports, and audits.
- Dunning & Communication: System-supported receivables management; close and proactive coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Your Profile
Must-haves
- Completed commercial training or a degree with a focus on accounting/finance.
- Confident in preparing financial statements under OR and several years of practical experience in financial accounting.
- Very good Excel skills; confident use of ERP/accounting systems (MS Dynamics).
- Proven multitasking ability: capable of managing several processes in parallel – including prioritization and clean handovers.
- Reliability under time pressure: you deliver on time with ensured quality and are used to tight closing deadlines.
- Ownership mindset: high degree of personal responsibility, proactive identification of improvement potential (e.g., process and automation opportunities), and consistent implementation.
- Structured, precise, and reliable way of working.
- High affinity for AI.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and basic understanding of IFRS.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and travel expense policies.
- Interest in digitalization/automation (e.g., Power Query / Power BI).
